Massage & Facial Services

At Spa Day With Gwen, we are committed to providing professional, high-quality licensed massage therapy and esthetic services in accordance with Texas law. Due to the nature of remote services, the following refund policy applies.

Service-Based Refund Policy

All massage and facial services are considered time-based professional services. Once a session has been completed, refunds are generally not issued.

By booking and receiving services, clients acknowledge that results vary and payment is for the provider’s time, professional skill, and travel.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Personal preference regarding pressure, technique, or product selection

  • Expected results not achieved

  • Post-treatment soreness or mild skin reactions consistent with treatment

  • Change of mind after service completion

Cancellations & Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

More than 24 Hours’ Notice

If a cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, any prepaid amount may be:

  • Refunded in full, or

  • Applied as a credit toward a future appointment

 

Less than 24 Hours’ Notice

As of February 10, 2026, no cancellation fee is being charged for appointments canceled within 24 hours. Please note that this is subject to change, and a cancellation fee policy may be introduced at a later date with prior notice to clients.

 

No-Shows

As of February 10, 2026, no-show appointments are not currently subject to a monetary fee.

However, out of respect for the therapist’s time, travel, and preparation, clients who fail to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice may:

  • Be required to prepay in full for future bookings

  • Be limited in scheduling privileges

  • Risk refusal of future service at the discretion of Spa Day With Gwen

We kindly ask that clients communicate as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule. Providing notice allows appointment times to be offered to other clients and helps maintain a professional and respectful service environment.

Please note that this courtesy policy is subject to change. A no-show fee may be implemented in the future, and clients will be notified in advance of any updates.

 

Provider Cancellation

If Spa Day With Gwen must cancel an appointment due to emergency, illness, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond control, clients will receive:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule at no additional charge

Unsuitable or Unsafe Environment

There is zero tolerance for inappropriate or unprofessional behavior. Because services are performed at the client’s location, any session that is canceled or terminated due to inappropriate conduct will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will not be issued if a session is ended due to:

  • Inappropriate comments, gestures, or requests

  • Sexual or suggestive behavior

  • Harassment or boundary violations

  • Intoxication or illegal activity

  • Unsafe or unsanitary conditions

  • Requests outside the legal scope of practice under Texas law

 

Skin Reactions & Massage Sensitivity

Massage therapy and esthetic treatments provided under the regulations of the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) may involve temporary effects such as:

  • Muscle soreness

  • Skin redness

  • Mild irritation

Clients are responsible for disclosing all medical conditions, allergies, and sensitivities prior to service. Refunds will not be issued for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.

Product Sales (If Applicable)

retail skincare products:

  • Unopened and unused products may be eligible for exchange within [7–14 days] of purchase.

  • Opened or used products are non-refundable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Disputes & Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact Spa Day With Gwen directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
